Heaven Jaafar is an Associate in the firm’s Cleveland office, focusing on mass tort and products-liability litigation, with an emphasis on pharmaceutical cases. She currently serves on the Leadership Development Committee and as the ESI Co-Chair in In re: Suboxone (Buprenorphine/Naloxone) Film Products Liability Litigation.
Heaven attended the University of Southern Mississippi and earned a B.S. in psychology, magna cum laude. She went on to receive her J.D. from Cleveland State University College of Law, graduating cum laude. While attending law school, Heaven served as the Business Editor of the Cleveland State Law Review and worked on the Ohio Rules of Court as a research assistant studying bail reform and evidentiary standards in domestic violence cases. She also clerked part-time at a litigation firm focusing on medical malpractice and labor and employment law.
Heaven began her legal career at a plaintiff’s firm representing injured workers in administrative proceedings and mandamus actions. She successfully advocated for her clients’ rights to medical treatment and compensation for their injuries.
Heaven is admitted to practice in Ohio and various federal courts. She is a member of the William K Thomas Inn of Court, the American Association for Justice, and the Arab American Bar Association.
